Is there an unpardonable sin? If so, what is it?
This is a label of what Jesus called, “the blasphemy against the Spirit” (Matt 12:31). Jesus said that “he who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness” (Mark 3:29). Most important to know is that Jesus died for ALL sin. (John 1:29, 1 John 2:2)
“And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world”.
Not one sin is left out according to this verse. The work of the Holy Spirit is to draw people to faith in Jesus as their Savior. (John 16:8-9) “Of sin because they believe not in Me”. To reject His pull toward Jesus and NOT believe is the only thing that condemns forever. (John 3:18) “He that believeth on Him is not condemned already, because he hath not believed in the Name of the only begotten Son of God”.
