Sometimes it seems Bible Prophesy is used as a hook to get me into a religion. How can I know what is true about this?

Many opinions exist about what to believe about Bible Prophecy. Various religions use it to capture the interest of people who do not know the Bible. Once they have your interest, they will want your membership or money so you can reserve your place in Heaven.

Just because someone quotes the Bible (including us) does not mean they speak the truth. You must search the Scriptures! If Jesus is not God, if salvation is by works or membership in their church; stop, study, and seek all clear Scripture. Not vague ones. Read the context. Compare unclear verses with clear ones. Any verse that seems to contradict clear ones must be understood in context.

Clear verses on salvation are: John 3:16, Ephesians 2:8-9, John 10:28, 1 John 5:13.
