About York Berean Church

How Can We Impress You?

WE CAN’T!  But you might give us a try if you are looking for answers and a church where people are genuine and doing something to reach people with the gospel.

Many people avoid church because they are afraid they will feel very uncomfortable and embarrassed.  They are looking for answers or help with life, but afraid to enter a church door because of what is going on or how they would (or would not) fit.  We try to make that a non-issue by being ourselves, being open and honest about our own struggles, and speaking at a level where you can get it!  There is no need for a dress code when we come together, as Jesus has already accepted us as we are.

Some Christians are in need of some doctrinal clarity on the gospel, namely assurance of salvation.  Perhaps they are looking for a place where they can have an eternal impact by being involved with a church centered on outreach.  If you are hungry for a verse by verse Bible teaching church, this is the place.

Who We Are

We are a group of simple people who have come together from all walks of life, and have become close family. We are not your typical church.  We strive to be an authentic, caring, loving group committed to understanding and living out the teachings of Jesus.  We don’t go out of our way to bring people in who are “perfect”.  We would rather see all people:  sinners, misfits, losers, or whoever they are.

Our Goal

Our goal is to help you find your way.  We would love for you to come visit us on Sunday at the York City Auditorium.  Don’t worry….. we won’t pressure you to stay if you don’t like us.  😉  You can find out more by visiting the Sunday Service page.

Our desire is to be sincere in our growing relationship with Jesus and encourage everyone no matter what stage of growth they are in.  To find out more, take a look around our website to learn more about our pastor and what we believe.  Or, you may contact us through this page.  See you soon!

“So if the Son sets you free, you are truly free.”
